EMDR

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a psychotherapy approach to support your coping with trauma-related disorders like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Together, we embark on a structured eight-phase journey where your therapist walks alongside you, guiding you through the process of addressing distressing memories. Through gentle bilateral stimulation, which can take the form of eye movements, sounds, taps, or scribbles, we work to ease the burden these memories carry.

It's believed that this technique helps your brain reprocess those painful experiences, lessening their emotional weight and empowering you to integrate them into your life in a balanced way. Our aim with EMDR is to offer you relief from the anguish of your past, and to nurture your journey toward psychological healing with compassion and understanding.
